New Chapter Review by @swirlsipfeel

Did you know what actually started my whole wine studies? 📚📖

It was a book called Wine Simple by Aldo Sohm who - as an Austrian - mentioned Grüner Veltliner quite a bit 😃… and as I am originally from western Hungary, having spent a lot of time in Austria I have a strong emotional connection to wines from Burgenland 🇦🇹!

I can truly say that book and that grape variety opened a new chapter in my life and here I am now writing and studying more about the wonderful wines of the world!

After all I was naturally drawn to the label and I’ve picked up LenzMark New Chapter GV @new_chapter_gruener which is a joint project of winemakers Lenz Moser @lenz_m_moser and Markus Huber @weingut_markus_huber - an excitingly bold and elegant, yet refreshing example! The wine is colourful and creative, approachable and fun with personality! Like a good book - I couldn’t really put it down🤩🥂

Full bodied with ripe apples, honey melons and a zesty, saline finish, it accompanied roast chicken wonderfully!

A great podcast with Tim Atkin MW and Lenz Moser is well worth a listen: https://timatkin.com/cork-talk/cork-talk-with-lez-moser/

Have a great Sunday everyone!
