NEW CHAPTER HARVEST - THE PERFECT GRAPE

Pfeuuuhh ! what a vintage it was this year , 2020!

Everything looked great until when in early October  the big rain has started.

Markus and Lenz always go for the perfect grape – as this is the basis of all great wines.

And please have a look at these great looking perfect grapes harvest on October 15th – in a small window between 2 low pressure systems.

Markus said: ”this is the year  a great vineyard manager is being recognized. To have perfectly healthy grapes is no luck , it is the result of intensive work in the vineyard : leaf management towards the end, good nutrition during the year, spot on water management and weed control and more!”

The grapes , in the end show a superb ripeness in in sugar , brown seeds for phenolic ripeness and no botrytis as the wine was able to dry the grapes all the time.

We can expect exactly  the style of  NEW CHAPTER  we wanted in first place: powerful , yet not opulent – with all the elegance of a great white from this globe, including the typicity of Austrian terroir and the Gruener grape – you have to try it.
